Aglow in their yellow-tie best, Mainliners and Philadelphians came together for the third annual gala event in support of Alex’s Lemonade Stand, the homegrown pediatric cancer charity that has raised more than $25 million in memory of Wynnewood’s Alexandra Scott. The evening of cocktails, dinner, raffles and auctions drew more than 600 guests and, with help from Volvo and CIGNA, raised $500,000 toward the search for a cure. Among the top auction items: a baker’s dozen of Liz Scott’s signature lemon cookies, which went for $13,000.
