A Better Belly
The physical and mental changes women go through during and after pregnancy often result in uncertainty about how to get back on track- on the inside and out. But thanks to Kelly McBride, the tri-state area’s only prenatal and postpartum pilates instructor and owner of the Main Line’s Belly Pilates, new moms and moms-to-be will have a new place to practice. Belly Pilates is teaming up with Bryn Mawr’s Biotonic Wellness Studio to offer women a nurturing place to practice. McBride subscribes to the belief that mothers are the glue that holds the family together and that if they’re not healthy and happy, everything else falls apart. Classes focus on alleviating common aches and pains associated with pregnancy while toning, building strength, balance and correcting muscular imbalances. Private and small group classes are available. Contact Kelly at 610-608-5883 for more information and class prices;

When you’ve completed the walk at Citizens Bank Park, stick around for activities including blood pressure screenings, fitness demonstrations, snacks, and plenty of activities for the kids. 2. Be sure to look after your feet when starting a new exercise program. Poor foot function can cause problems in the hips, knees, shins and feet. To see a diagram of the places where bad feet can lead to pain, please feel free to browse to my article All about Pronated Feet for a free printable Info Sheet. This may help to steer you towards a lasting solution if you suffer from exercise induced pain. Regards. Sandy
